Dear Prospective Member of The United States Catholic Historical Society:

In the name of His Eminence, Edward Cardinal Egan, and the entire Board of Trustees of the Society, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering joining our effort.

As a member, you will be part of a very prestigious group of people dedicated to understanding and preserving our Catholic Heritage. Membership brings with it a subscription to our quarterly journal, The U.S. Catholic Historian. This award-winning journal presents thematic topics of relevance to those who are aware of or concerned about the role their heritage has played in the development of the United States.

Please consider joining one of the following membership categories:

1. Regular Membership:
   Regular Membership entitles you to membership in the Society and a subscription to the Society's journal, The U.S. Catholic Historian. The minimum fee for Regular Membership is $40.00.
   
2. Sustaining Membership:
   Sustaining membership entitles you to membership in the Society; a subscription to the Society's journal, The U.S. Catholic Historian; and a personalized indicia of membership. The minimum fee for Sustaining Membership is $100.00.
3. Benefactor Membership:
   Benefactor Membership entitles you to membership in the Society; a subscription to the Society's journal, The U.S. Catholic Historian; a personalized indicia of membership; and a complimentary copy of any and all books and essays published by the Society during your membership. The minimum fee for Benefactor Membership is $250.00.
4. Fellow Membership:
   Fellow Membership entitles you to membership in the Society; a subscription to the Society's journal, The U.S. Catholic Historian; a personalized indicia of membership; a complimentary copy of any and all books and essays published by the Society during your membership; and recognition in the Society's journal during your membership. The minimum fee for Fellow Membership is $500.00.

Because the cost of publication is the same as the Regular Membership donation, we ask those who are able to do so to join one of the higher levels of membership. Whether you choose to join us as a Regular, Sustaining, Benefactor, or Fellow Member, we appreciate your interest and look forward to seeing you become an active participant in U.S. Catholic history.

All contributions to the Society are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. The market value of the subscription is $40. Federal regulations allow gifts over the cost of the subscription and any additional benefit received by the donor, as tax deductible. See your tax contributions consultant for full details. The Society is a 501(c) (3) charity incorporated in the State of New York in the year 1884. It is listed in The Kennedy Directory under the auspices of the Archdiocese of New York.
